OUR METHODS
Mav & Me does not ‘blanket train’; Meaning we understand different dogs require different needs or techniques.
We practice balanced-training & are comfortable & experienced in a wide range of tools (slip lead, k9-lifeline, HS prong collar, e-collar, gentle lead) & will work with you based on you & your dogs comfort levels.
We recommend sticking to a Lesson Routine (meeting every week or every other) to keep up on your goals & timeline - However, all Sessions are book-as-needed so there is no pressure if you need more time to practice!
We are always available to assist you in-between appointments via virtual help or scheduling additional Lessons.

We travel to the comfort of your own home to practice the basics before putting training to the test out in a “real world” setting. Your dogs are able to learn in a place they know & love, helping to build confidence prior to advancing.

Mobile Private Lessons

If you’re uncomfortable meeting in your home or your pup ie ready to advance to the next steps, we can train in a neutral public area such as parks, businesses (ie; Tractor Supply, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.), or open-spaced lots.
